1. undivided attention: 전적으로 집중함, 전념

Cambridge: complete attention

누군가의 말을 경청하고 있거나 경청을 요구할 때 자주 사용합니다.

너 말에 온전히 집중할게

 

 

 

▷ I need your undivided attention.

내 말을 경청해주길 바라

 

 

 

2. self conscious: 남의 시선을 의식하는, 눈치 보는

Cambridge: nervous or uncomfortable because you are worried about what people think about you or your actions

다른 사람의 시선이나 생각을 의식하면서 걱정하고 염려할 때 사용합니다.

 

 

▷ Look, I get it. You're self-conscious about your body.

이제 알겠네. 너 몸이 신경 쓰이는 거네 

 

 

 

▷ You're self-conscious about our age difference, and you thought you'd look old standing next to me.

우리 나이 차이가 신경 쓰이는 거고 제 옆에 서면 늙어 보일 거라 생각했던 거네요. 

 

 

3. make a pass at/make a move on: 수작을 걸다

Longman: to try to kiss or touch another person with the intention of starting a sexual relationship with them

진도 좀 빠르게 빼보려고 찔러보면서 수작 거는 상황에서 사용합니다.

그러면 그는 왜 진도를 안 나가려는 거예요? 음, 저 또한 잘 모르겠어요. 수줍어하는 남자일 수도 있죠.
