1. strange

Collins:Something that is strange is unusual or unexpected, and makes you feel slightly nervous or afraid

strange는 일반적이지 않고 통념과 달라 이해하거나 설명하기 어려워서 '낯선, 이상한'을 의미합니다.

 

▷ Nothing strange

이상한 것은 없다

 

▷ This tastes strange

이거 맛이 이상한데

 

2. weird

Collins:If you describe something or someone as weird, you mean that they are strange

weird는 strange와 의미가 유사하며 비격식체로 사용됩니다.

 

▷ I had a really weird dream last night

어젯밤에 정말 이상한 꿈을 꿨어

 

3. abnormal

Oxford:different from what is usual or expected, especially in a way that worries somebody or is harmful or not wanted

abnormal은 (이상하고 잘못된 방식으로 걱정이나 위험을 유발할 만큼) 일반적이고 평균적인 것과 매우 다른 '비정상적인'을 의미합니다.

Cambridge:unusual and strange, sometimes in an unpleasant way

peculiar은 (불쾌한 방식이나 걱정을 유발할 정도로) '이상한, 기이한'을 의미합니다.

5. odd

Longman:different from what is normal or expected, especially in a way that you disapprove of or cannot understand

odd는 (정상적이거나 예상과는 다른, 특히 당신이 동의하지 않거나 이해할 수 없는 점에서) '이상한, 특이한'을 의미합니다.
